Hey, any landing you walk away from is a good one.

Fortunately, the east runway (17L) is the shorter of the two runways (9000 ft). If this had fouled the longer one (17R, 12,250 ft), ABIA would be in a jam. There’s a 787 from Heathrow that comes in daily, plus a FedEx DC-10, and I’m not sure either of them could land on the shorter runway.

My fist day at KTEB we had a cirrus go off the end of 06 into the safety area. unfortunately due to the wind conditions we were unable to use RWY 1 so for about an hour and a half the airport was closed to fixed-wing traffic during the morning rush. nothing worse than having one prop guy screw everything up.
